HOW IT HAPPENED

Trailing 2-0, the Tigers first put runs on the board in the first inning. Tennessee State got on the board thanks to Spencer’s RBI double with one out.

Tennessee State scored once on an RBI single off the bat of McDaniel, which tightened the Golden Eagles lead to 8-2. The Tigers were unable to get any closer, as Tennessee Tech added two runs to their tally on the way to a 10-2 final.
